魚很快樂在水裡唱歌

把魚釣起來，釣魚的人很快樂
Catching the fish, the fisherman was happy

他不知道，水裡有魚的眼淚

螢火蟲 Fireflies

提著小燈籠
Fireflies carrying lanterns

不找吃的，不找玩的，也不跳舞
Nor eat, nor play, nor dance

熱心的帶我們去找一個夏天的夢

秋天的信 Autumn's Message

秋天，要給大家寫信
Autumn is writing letters

用葉子做信紙
Falling leaves are her papers

請風當郵差
The wind is her carrier

偷懶的郵差每到一個地方
The lazy carrier at every stop

就把信一拋
Flings out the mail

有的信，落在松鼠頭上
Some fall on the squirrel

有的信，掉在青蛙身旁
Some fall on the frog

趕路的雁，也銜了一頁回家
Geese hurrying home, take some along

池塘裡，草叢中
In the pond, amid the bushes

到處都有秋天的信
Everywhere we see autumn’s message

動物們急忙準備過冬
Little animals, prepare for winter

Sunlight, from Mama's eyes, shining

井裡的小青蛙   The little Frog in the Well

除了睡覺吃東西
Besides sleeping and eating

只會呱呱呱
It could only cry; gua gua gua

小青蛙吃飽了，就拍著肚子說大話：
The little frog ate its fill And patting its belly spoke big words

「哎呀！我的媽！這個小地方就是我的家？
Alas! My mommy! How can this small space be my home?

天 － 只有井口大
The sky is but an opening

地 － 只有水一漥
The earth is but a puddle

過幾天，我長大
In a few days I will grow up

這世界會連我的肚子都裝不下！」
Then this world cannot even hold my belly.”

北風的玩笑 North Wind’s Joke

北風最喜歡和樹開玩笑
North wind jokes with the trees

害得樹笑彎了腰連葉子都笑掉了
Who bend over with laughter so merry, they lose their leaves

小路   The Lane

黯然的小路，突然開滿了小小的黃花
The shadowy land suddenly blossoms little yellow flowers

黃黃的小花，把小路照得好美
The yellowy flowers, shine the lane pretty

把小路照得好亮
Shine the lane bright

柳 樹 的 頭 髮

柳樹的頭髮又細又軟

捨不得把它剪短

頭髮越留越長，越留越長

把臉遮住了，把身體遮住了風來幫他梳頭的時候說：

「老柳啊！你的頭髮怎麼不理一理啊？」

柳樹說：「人家理髮，是為了漂亮，我不理髮，也是為了漂亮啊！」
